Common gauges are 1.2, 1.6, 2.0 and 2.5 mm. 1.2 mm suits light control cabling on short spans, 1.6 mm is the general-purpose default, and 2.0 to 2.5 mm is for heavy power runs, wide trays or long support spans. Rather than order by gauge alone, give the cable load per metre and support spacing, and let the manufacturer confirm the thickness.
Add the cross-sectional area of all cables, then keep the fill ratio below about 40% of the tray's internal area so heat can dissipate, per IEC 61537 practice. Don't stack a single layer of power cable; for control cable, 40% fill is acceptable. Share the cable schedule and we can confirm tray width, depth and load class before fabrication.
A credible Indian manufacturer ships a commercial invoice, packing list, Mill Test Certificate (MTC) tracing the steel to its heat, a galvanizing certificate stating zinc thickness, and a Certificate of Origin (COO) for duty relief. Third-party inspection reports from SGS, TÜV or Bureau Veritas are added where the buyer or the standard requires them.
There is no fixed minimum for international supply. Partial containers get consolidated with accessories and documentation into one shipment routinely. Most first-time orders are sized to fill a 20 ft or 40 ft container simply because that's the efficient freight unit. Tell us the destination port and Incoterm and we'll confirm what order size makes sense.
