IEC 61537 load class: is the load rating supported by a type-test report or a self-declaration? Finish consistency: is galvanizing in-house or outsourced? If outsourced, zinc thickness varies by batch. Accessory matching: can the supplier provide bends, tees and couplers in the same material and thickness? Getting the answers to these five before you compare prices prevents a lot of site rework.

Yes, metro and tunnel environments impose three requirements that standard industrial trays don't always meet. Stainless 316 costs 25–35 % more than 304 at current LME nickel and molybdenum prices. The molybdenum content in 316 is specifically what resists chloride pitting, so use 316 where chlorides are present: coastal pharma plants, food-processing wash-down environments, offshore platforms and any area with regular sodium hypochlorite or chlorinated-water wash-down. For most inland industrial use, 304 is sufficient and the cost saving matters at project scale. Both perform identically in the dry, clean environments most commercial tenders describe.
