Ladder trays are the right call for heavy power cabling where heat dissipation, large bend radii and long support spans matter — the open rungs let warm air rise away from conductors. Perforated trays suit lighter control and instrumentation runs where you want continuous bottom support. For a data-centre busway feed or a substation cable corridor, specify ladder; for a panel-room control loom, perforated is enough.
IEC 61537 is the global benchmark — it covers classification, load-deflection tests, electrical continuity and corrosion class. We engineer and manufacture to IEC 61537, IS 12352, and NEMA VE 1 simultaneously, which lets international EPCs write any of the three into the BOQ without re-sourcing. Coastal humidity and salt aerosol demand hot-dip galvanizing to ASTM A123 (minimum 85 µm zinc coat) or stainless steel 316L for splash-zone sections. We engineer all our coastal-duty cable trays with HDG as standard and maintain in-house galvanizing capacity to guarantee 85+ µm coating on every shipment. Our accelerated salt-spray testing (ASTM B117, 1,000 hours) ensures the finish survives Middle East and African coastal environments.

Specify a Class 12 (or higher) tray to IEC 61537 with a 1.5–2.0 m support span and a safety margin of at least 1.5×. Yes. Most projects need either tie-down slots in the rungs or fixed cable-cleat positions for fault-current restraint. We produce rungs with stamped tie-slots on request and weld cleat brackets at drawing-specified pitch — both finish-matched to the parent tray.
