Building to IS 802, the Indian standard for transmission tower design, is routine for Indian fabricators, and they can reference EN 1090 for European-influenced projects, with galvanizing to ASTM A123 recognised globally. Confirm which design standard your project's structural engineer specifies for the tower calculation itself.
Transmission towers are large lattice structures carrying high-voltage conductors over long spans, engineered for significant wind and conductor tension loads. Telecom towers are typically smaller, self-supporting or guyed lattice masts carrying antennas. Solar pile structures use similar angle-fabrication technique but at a much smaller scale for module mounting racking. All three use the same CNC angle-fabrication process, differing mainly in scale and load case.

Some sections can be pre-assembled to reduce site erection time; larger towers ship as individual match-marked members for site bolting because of size and weight constraints on containers and transport.
