What matters for a buyer is going direct to a Howrah factory rather than through a trading layer, since that strips out the markup and shortens the paperwork chain.
Ask for the factory address and current production photos, not a catalogue. Find out who actually does the galvanizing, in-house or a subcontractor. Request the ISO 9001 certificate and a recent MTC as samples. Then throw in one technical question, like the deflection class at your exact support span, and watch whether the answer comes straight from someone on the floor or gets deflected. Traders mark up somebody else's tray and disappear when quality slips.

Building to IEC 61537 is routine for Indian manufacturers, and adding NEMA VE 1, BS or AS/NZS alongside IS 12352 is standard practice, which is why one supplier can cover Gulf, Australian and UK specifications without you re-sourcing for each market. There's a duty angle too: the India–UAE CEPA and India–Australia ECTA agreements cut or remove import duty when a valid Certificate of Origin travels with the shipment.
