HS 7407 covers copper bars, rods and profiles, the classification for solid busbar. HS 7409 covers copper plates, sheets and strip, thinner, flat-rolled copper products. Busbar cut from bar or profile stock is generally 7407; if yours is cut from rolled sheet or strip stock, 7409 may apply instead. Check with your customs broker based on the actual manufacturing process used.
EN 10204 3.1 is a material certificate validated by the manufacturer's own quality department, not just a test report, confirming the material meets the specified standard for conductivity, composition and dimensional tolerance. Many European and Gulf project specifications call for 3.1 certification specifically rather than a generic test certificate, so check this requirement before ordering if your consultant works to EU norms.
Kolkata/Howrah combines copper-processing and precision fabrication capacity with Kolkata/Haldia port access nearby, so a single manufacturer there can supply busbar alongside cable tray, earthing and lugs in one consolidated shipment. That matters most to EPCs trying to procure a full electrical BOQ from one source instead of chasing three.
Busbar support insulators, typically DMC/SMC or porcelain, hold the bars at the correct phase spacing inside the panel and must be rated for the fault current and voltage class of the installation. These usually get specified and supplied by the panel builder to match their enclosure design, so check with your panel manufacturer whether insulators sit in Vajra's scope or theirs before finalising the BOQ.
