On large orders, ask whether the supplier will hold a price for a defined window or index it to LME at shipment instead; that avoids disputes if copper moves significantly between quotation and production.
Ask for the conductivity test report and EN 10204 3.1 certificate from a recent batch. Find out whether cutting, punching, bending and tinning happen in-house or get farmed out. Ask for the ISO 9001 certificate too. A genuine manufacturer runs the whole process from copper billet to finished, drilled busbar and can produce paperwork at every step; a trader usually can't.

Yes, and this is the standard export scenario rather than the exception. Send the drawing with hole positions, bend angles and tolerances, and the busbar gets sheared, punched and bent to match, then tinned or sleeved as specified, so it installs directly with no on-site fabrication needed.
IACS stands for International Annealed Copper Standard. 100 % IACS equals a resistivity of 1.7241 µΩ·cm (or 5.8 × 10⁷ S/m). ETP copper tests at 100–102 % IACS; anything below 98 % indicates impurities or cold-work embrittlement, causing the bar to run hotter at rated current. The practical check: ask for resistivity per metre (µΩ/m) rather than a percentage, a 100×10 mm ETP busbar (1,000 mm²) should measure about 17.2 µΩ per metre at 20 °C. If the supplier quotes '>98 %' without a tested value from an NABL lab, that is a red flag. Our NABL-certified test report states the measured conductivity on each heat, not just a compliance claim.
