14.2 mm or 17.2 mm diameter at 1.2/1.5/3.0 m lengths covers most projects. Use 17.2 mm for harder soils and longer driving; 14.2 mm where soil is friable and conductor count matters. Length is set by soil resistivity — go as deep as you can before adding rods in parallel.

Yes — our rods are produced to IEC 62561-2 (Class H, 250 µm minimum copper thickness) and conformance is verifiable by Faraday-cup or stripping test. UL 467 is the North American equivalent for similar performance.

Use threaded coupling dowels with brass or bronze couplers — the rod ends are factory-threaded, the dowel is screwed in, and a hardened driving head transmits the impact. We ship couplers, driving heads, clamps and the full deep-drive kit so the installer doesn't improvise.

Type-A clamps (one-piece brass) for rod-to-conductor connections rated to IEC 62561. The clamp must not introduce a galvanic cell with the conductor — brass-to-copper is fine; if you have GI conductor, use a bimetallic clamp or transition lug. Specify the conductor type when ordering rods.
