Confirm the maximum plate thickness they can process for your specific component; plate girders and heavy brackets often need thicker plate than standard built-up beams. Ask this specifically rather than assuming standard capacity covers your heaviest section.

Yes, and this is the core service. Send the structural engineer's drawing with member sizes, connection details, welding symbols and finish specification, and fabrication proceeds exactly to that design, with shop drawings typically reviewed and approved before cutting begins.

Dimensional inspection against approved shop drawings, weld inspection, visual and NDT such as ultrasonic or radiography where specified for critical joints, and finish verification, galvanizing thickness or paint DFT. Third-party inspection from SGS, TÜV or Bureau Veritas is arranged where the project specification requires it.
