A cantilever support is a single-sided bracket projecting from a wall or column, suited to a single tray or pipe run along a building face. A pipe rack is a full multi-tier structure, often independently founded, carrying multiple parallel pipe and cable runs across an open plant area, used where several services need to run together over distance, not just along a wall.

Visual inspection against AWS D1.1 or IS 816 acceptance criteria is standard; critical welds may additionally require dye-penetrant testing, ultrasonic testing or radiography depending on project specification and consequence of failure. Confirm your project's required inspection level, and whether third-party inspection is needed, at enquiry stage, not after fabrication.
