First orders normally run on 100% advance or an irrevocable sight LC through SBI, HDFC, Axis, ICICI or Citibank India, terms your own bank can check independently. Repeat buyers usually move to 30% advance, 70% against a copy Bill of Lading.
SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV Rheinland, Intertek and OMIC all have offices in Kolkata and can inspect at our Howrah works on 48 hours' notice, checking dimensions, coating and heat numbers before the container seals. Arranging it costs nothing extra.
Confirmed orders with approved drawings ship on time above 93% of the time. If a delay risk turns up mid-run, we flag it at the ten-working-day mark, not the day before.
EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, Certificate of Origin, packing list, and the inspection report if one was arranged. The exact set is listed in the quotation reply, not discovered after the invoice.
Report it with photographs within 14 days of arrival. Where the fault is in our manufacture, not a transit issue and not a drawing we built exactly as approved, we re-manufacture the affected items or credit them against your next order.
