GEM does not leach into surrounding soil and holds moisture better in desert conditions; (2) Saudi specs call for copper electrodes at all utility connection points, not GI; (3) the Saudi acceptance test requires each electrode to achieve ≤5 Ω before the distribution company will connect. We manufacture to both IS 3043 and IEC 62561-2 from the same facility. A GCC shipment leaves our works with the IEC material certificate, an Arabic-language installation guide and bentonite GEM already packed in the kit.
